The community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Chase Yoachum, who tragically passed away in an accident that has left his family, friends, and loved ones devastated. His passing marks an unimaginable moment of sorrow for all who knew him, and a deep void now exists where his vibrant presence once shone.
Chase was known as a bright light in the lives of many. To those fortunate enough to cross paths with him, he was more than just a friend or family member—he was a source of love, joy, and genuine kindness. He touched lives with his warmth, compassion, and the rare ability to make others feel truly seen and valued.
In the wake of this tragedy, a Give In Kind fundraiser titled With Deepest Sadness has been created to support the Yoachum family during this incredibly difficult time. The outpouring of support—from prayers to messages and acts of kindness—has shown just how deeply Chase was loved and how many lives he impacted.
The family shared this heartfelt message:
“This is an incredibly difficult time for the Yoachum family. We want to thank everyone who has reached out with prayers, kind words, and offers of support. Your love means more than we can express.”
They went on to honor Chase’s memory by writing:
“For those who knew him, you know that Chase was a bright light—so loving, so caring. Now, he is our forever angel, and his memory will live on in all of us.”
Mike Yoachum, Chase’s father, is also being remembered during this time as a man who has always given selflessly to others—a devoted father and cherished friend. Now, as he walks the difficult path toward healing, he is surrounded by a community holding him up with love, faith, and support.
“As he continues his journey to healing, we ask for your continued prayers, which are powerful and deeply appreciated.”
The Yoachum, Caputo’s, and Camp families have come together in gratitude to thank everyone who has shown support:
“If you feel called to help support the family during this time, any contribution—no matter the amount—will make a difference.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with the Yoachum family in this time of unimaginable loss and ongoing recovery.”
Chase Yoachum’s legacy is one of love, light, and unwavering kindness. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and cherished him. May his memory be a blessing, and may his family find strength in the love that surrounds them.
